CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION WORKSHOP

Come learn how to surrender to your unique birth journey with confident support from your partner. You will learn how to prepare for labor and birth as well as how to work as a team. We will cover topics such as nutrition, what to expect with physiological birth, flow of labor, unexpected situations, relaxation techniques, and much more.​

My priority is creating a relationship of trust and providing education to help inform and empower your decisions for this pivotal life experience. I will hold space for you and be there before, during and after baby comes. Includes prenatal visits, doula support during birth, postpartum planning, and a postpartum visit. As you birth, I will provide emotional and physical support as well as advocate for your desired experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do you accept payment plans?
Yes! My desire is to be able to provide these services to as many people as possible. Deposits are required for both the childbirth education course and for doula support to secure your spot. For the childbirth course, payment is due on the date of the first class. For doula support, $250 is due when the contract is signed and the rest is due at 36 weeks. Payment plans are available- please reach out to discuss your options. I am also open to partial trades for services with interest in photography, social media management, meal prepping, house cleaning, massage therapy, and more! Reach out to discuss.

- Do you accept HSA/FSA?
Doula services may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement depending on your individual plan. Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their HSA/FSA administrator. Upon request, itemized receipts and invoices will be provided.

​- When should I hire a doula?
Starting the process as early as you feel comfortable gives you time to create a relationship of trust and find someone who you connect with that is available. In starting early you also will have access to resources and time to implement nutrition changes and be guided in the emotional work in preparation for labor. That said, it is never too late! Even if you are a week away from having your baby or already have and need support, please reach out!

- Does a doula replace my partner?
A doula does not replace your partner. Instead, a doula works alongside your partner to provide additional support, guidance, and comfort during labor, birth, and the postpartum period. While your partner focuses on their emotional and physical support for you, the doula offers expert knowledge and reassurance, helping both of you navigate the birth process. The goal is for the doula to enhance your birthing experience and ensure that both you and your partner feel supported and empowered throughout the journey.

- When should I take a childbirth education course?
The topics we cover will be beneficial throughout your pregnancy and labor and having more time to practice the techniques you learn is helpful! However, if you find yourself in your last trimester thinking you want to take the course, please don't hesitate! It will help you and your partner feel united and ready for your unique journey no matter when you start.

- Do you offer private sessions for the childbirth education course?
Yes! If you would prefer a more personalized experience, I offer private sessions in-person or via zoom. All content included in the group sessions are included in the private sessions and tailored to your needs. Private sessions are $365- payment plans available. ​
